The Crisis and the People.’ Ever since the beginning of the crisis, hundreds of thousands of people have been yearning for a fuller statement of its views on it by NYC than has yet appeared. That fuller statement is now put before the reader. It is the application to a concrete Nigerian situation of the analytical tools and concepts first clearly fashioned by Marx and Engles and later developed by Lenin and others.
