A brief description on the laws of the western region of Nigeria enacted or deemed to have been enacted by the Legislature of the Western Region on or before the 31st January, 1959 and certain other Laws enacted after that date together with certain subsidiary legislation made thereunder and certain orders of Her Majesty in council, letters patent royal instructions and imperial statutes relating to the region or applicable thereto.
