Description
This work sets out to increase our knowledge of an important ethnic group, the Koro whose geographical spread straddles both the Northern and the Central Region of Nigeria covering Kano, Bauchi, Plateau, Nassarawa, Taraba, Kaduna, Niger and the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja. Despite this wide geographical spread not much research work has been done on the Koro outside the efforts of Colonial field officers, that is Residents, District Officers and Assistant District Officers, Anthropologists, Ethnographers and linguistics. The efforts made by the authors of this book is aimed at producing perhaps for the first time, a book with an attempt to cover a wider scope of the history of Koro people to give both the present and future generations a footing of their history and appreciate changes that have taken place.
