Supreme Court of Nigeria

The Supreme Court of Nigeria is the highest court of the land and the final court of appeal for all matters in Nigeria, established under Section 230 of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended). It has original jurisdiction in disputes between the Federation and a state or between states, and hears appeals from the Court of Appeal. The Supreme Court's decisions are binding on all other courts in Nigeria and its rulings shape the constitutional and legal framework of the country.
