• Task force team name. • FG Gives 5M Loan to Farmers. • Minster, WAEC boss to face House of Reps. • Housing chairmen call on oba. • Rivers government poised to complete development projects.
Description
The Federal Government is giving financial support to farmers for the farming season. How it works: Big commercial farms can get up to ₦5 million. Small-scale farmers can get smaller, interest-free loans between ₦100,000 and ₦300,000 to buy seeds and fertilizer. Exam Officials Face Lawmakers : The Minister of Education and the WAEC boss were questioned by the House of Representatives. Why Lawmakers were worried about sudden changes to school exam subjects and computer-based testing. Result: WAEC is slowing down the digital exam rollout so rural schools without computers do not suffer. Housing Chairmen Visit the Oba : Housing leaders from the Africa International Housing Show visited the Oba of Lagos. Why: They asked the King for his royal support to build cheaper houses and reduce the country's huge housing shortage. Rivers State Projects : Governor Siminalayi Fubara is launching 10 major projects over a 10-day period. What is being built: The completed projects include new hospitals, schools, and major roads across the state. Task Force Team: Depending on the specific assignment, different government groups handle operations. Who they are: Financial aid is managed by the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), while local state teams handle security and traffic.
