dc.descriptionAs librarians, we have a professional responsibility to provide services within legal and ethical framework which include the intellectual property rules.  It is pertinent that we strike a balance between our desires as librarians to support the needs of patrons to gain access to works, information and ideas with copyright in them while not forgetting the economic rights of copyright owners on their intellectual properties.
