dc.descriptionA review of extant studies on determinants of financial sector development in Nigeria have mostly failed to take into account the influence of financial reform, output growth and natural resource dependence in their analysis. This has the potential to lead to bias in results obtained from such studies with dire implication on the design and implementation of financial sector development strategies in the country. This study attempts to bridge this gap in knowledge.
