The document treats the major resources in Rivers state, Nigeria describing their present position, main uses, possibilities and prospects.
Rivers state is situated in the rain forest of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and various food and cash crops e.g. rubber, oil-palm, groundnuts, plantains, cassava and cocoa, grow profusely in the area. The initiative of the people of Rivers State is directed towards encouraging businessmen and investors with vision to visit Rivers State and familiarize themselves with the potentially valuable but undeveloped resources to be found in the soil, in the forest and in the rivers of the State.
