dc.descriptionThis is the portrait of Dr. Linus N. Ikpaahindi, 4th Chief Executive Officer, the National Library of Nigeria, form 2004 to 2010. Dr. L. N. Ikpaahindi is well grounded Librarian. He holds a PhD in Library and Information Science at the University of Pittsburgh, United States of America in 1985. Dr. Ikpaahindi joined the services of the National Library of Nigeria as a Director and headed the Reference and users’ Services department, until when he was appointed as the National Librarian on acting capacity in 2004 to 2006 when he was appointed the substantive National Librarian to 2010.
