dc.descriptionORDINANCES, 1908-1912 An Ordinance to provide for the consolidation and amendment of the Statute Laws in force in the Colony and Protectorate. [30th January, 1908.] WHEREAS by Letters Patent passed under the Preamble. Great Seal of the United Kingdom bearing date at Westminster the 28th day of February, 1906, it was declared that the Colony of Lagos should from the date of the coming into operation of the said Letters Patent be known as the Colony of Southern Nigeria and whereas the said Letters Patent came into operation on the 1st day of May, 1906.
