The specific activities of the Council within the year were derived from TRCN mandates and international best practices among professional regulatory agencies worldwide. In view of the above, emphasis is laid on the Registration and Licensing of qualified teachers, Accreditation, Monitoring, and Supervision of the courses and programmes of teacher training institutions nationwide to ensure that they meet national and international standards.
