Description
The initial impetus for the production of the criminal law manual by the departıment of public prosecution of the federation was the necd to have a concise and credible source of decided cases before the courts. This was necessary in order to elevate the standard of professional practice by the department, firstly, by facilitating access to 'quick-reference' legal material to aid the timeous prosecution of cases, and secondly, to standardize the response by the department's lawyers to similar legal situations, as is the practice in several advanced jurisdictions.
