A Goodwill message from the National Librarian and Chief Executive Officer of the National Library of Nigeria given on thursday, 18th November 2021, at the conference hall of the National Bureau of Statistics in Commemoration of the 2021 celebration of African Statistics Day in Nigeria.
Description
As a Librarian, my daily routine revolves around statistics. I rely on statistics when selecting books to buy, in order to ensure that there is even acquisition of materials across all the subject areas. I rely on statistics to track all cataloguing and classification activities in the library.
Generally, all operations and services in the library are dependent on statistics, to provide meaningful aid for decision makers.
