Description
World states are continuously taking multilateral approach to development issues across the globe. The adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in September 2015 signified a transition from the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to a new set of 17-goals which seeks to balance environmental, social and economic development. Researches have affirmed the infinite role of education in achieving development, giving rise to the call for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This study investigates the attitude of students towards Civic Education (CE) and the possible effects it will have on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria.
