The National Bibliography of Nigeria, 2002 is the fifty-first annual cumulation of Nigeria’s current national bibliography. It is the thirty second to be compiled by the National Library since It was taken over from the University of Ibadan in accordance with Section 2(2) (f) of the National Library Act No. 29 of 1970, the twenty-ninth to be published under the new title since January, 1973 and the twenty-seventh to be arranged in classified sequence. It is also the second automated edition to be compiled using the UNESCO’S Micro CDS/ISIS library application software. Previous issues had the title Nigerian Publications.
