Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund)

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is a federal intervention agency established by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund Act 2011, which replaced the Education Tax Fund (ETF). TETFund collects a 2.5% education tax from assessable profits of companies registered in Nigeria and disburses the funds for the development and maintenance of Nigerian public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. Its interventions cover physical infrastructure, library development, research, training of academic staff, and book publishing.
