The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction is the federal ministry responsible for coordinating Nigeria's humanitarian response, social protection programmes, and poverty reduction initiatives. The Ministry oversees emergency relief operations, manages internally displaced persons (IDP) camps, and implements the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs) including the National Cash Transfer Programme, School Feeding programme, N-Power, and Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP). It coordinates Nigeria's engagement with international humanitarian agencies.
