National Gallery of Art (NGA)

The National Gallery of Art (NGA) is the federal institution responsible for promoting, collecting, preserving, and exhibiting Nigerian visual art. The Gallery maintains a permanent national collection of contemporary Nigerian artworks and organises exhibitions, art competitions, and residency programmes to support emerging and established Nigerian artists. The NGA plays a central role in positioning Nigeria as a hub for contemporary African art and in developing the visual arts component of Nigeria's creative economy.
