Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA)

The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) serves as the principal coordinating body for all security and intelligence matters at the highest level of the Nigerian government. The National Security Adviser is responsible for advising the President on national security policy and coordinating the activities of Nigeria's security and intelligence agencies, including the Department of State Services (DSS), the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC). The ONSA plays a central role in counter-terrorism, conflict prevention, and strategic intelligence assessment.
