The Federal High Court of Nigeria is established under Section 249 of the 1999 Constitution with original jurisdiction in a wide range of matters arising from federal government activities. It handles matters including revenue cases, banking and financial institutions, intellectual property, admiralty jurisdiction, aviation, and matters relating to federal government agencies. The Federal High Court sits in Abuja and in judicial divisions in every state of the federation.
