Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC)

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is the independent national regulatory authority for the telecommunications industry in Nigeria, established by the Nigerian Communications Act 2003. The NCC licenses telecommunications operators, allocates spectrum, enforces quality of service standards, and protects consumer rights in the communications sector. It regulates Nigeria's mobile networks, internet service providers, and other communications licensees, and plays a central role in driving broadband penetration and digital inclusion across the country.
