dc.description | Igbo goodnight could have as well been titled "Good bye to lgbo Heritage". But this could have been a negation of the author's intent towards reawakening the lgbo people from a state of unconsciousness capable of extincting every lgbo. lgbo Goodnight is an attempt by the author to raise alarm over the gross neglect of lgbo language, culture, mode of dressing and other values which give the lgbo people their identity. Capturing the dismal state of the lgbo people which the author is worried about, lack of interest in the lgbo language and culture by both the old and the young generation, Evangelist Michael Ezenor did not only identify the disturbing problem among the contemporary lgbo race but proferred solutions aimed at putting an end to this. | |
