This paper examines the preliminary stage of fish farming which is the dredging of natural pond. It aims at enabling youths to learn how to set out at dredging natural fish pond rather than concrete ones that are expensive, to make the youth know the dimensions needed and utilize maximally the available land and set them for the stage of stocking the ponds with fish(es. The paper assesses the necessary skills needed to dredge the natural pond that is less expensive and where a piece of land can be leased and vacated later. The article also tries to project a gap for the future and the later stage of fish farming in respect to stocking the pond and marketing the fish.
