This study examined the dynamic effect of inflation on economic activities in Nigeria between 1996 and 2014. The study employed both the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and the Philip Perron unit root tests to determine the properties of the time series. It was found that the variables were of mixed orders of integration. Furthermore, Auto Regressive Distribute Lag (ARDL) system cointegration test indicated the presence of equilibrium among the variables. The results of ARDL showed that real economic growth was not significantly affected by inflation rates, but so did real interest rates and exchange rates.
